Cloves - spice from nature

                                             Indian healers use cloves in respiratory and digestive ailments.It contains Eugenol which is a natural anasthetic.Clove is actually the flower bud of the plant and it is an excellent source of Vit K,Vit C,Manganese and Omega 3 fatty acids.According to Ayurveda cloves pacify Vata and Kapha.
                                                 How to use Cloves?
1.Clove can cure indigestion ,stomach ache and flatulance.Boil 1 tablespoon of cloves in 1 litre water .
Drink one glass of this medicated water and your pain will vanish.For indigestion have this thrice daily after food.
2.Chew 3 cloves and swallow if you have nausea and vomiting.
3.Grind 3 cloves and mix with 1 tablespoon honey.Take this thrice daily to get rid of an irritating cough.
4.Often people get a stye on the upper eyelid. Grind clove in rosewater and apply over the eyelid and the stye will disappear.Take care the paste does not go inside eye.
5.Using cloves in food is good to improve digestion.Crush 4 cloves, saute in ghee and add to boiled rice to get a special yummy flavour.
6.Cloves are used to cure toothache.Crush cloves and apply to affected area.You can also do it in another way.Crush 5 cloves,add to 1 tablespoon oil,heat mildly and apply to affected area.You can use sesame oil or olive oil.
